Permanent Secretary - Administration

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Legal affairs has overall administrative responsibilities for the departments within the Ministry and is the Accounting Officer.

The advice and Litigation Division and the Drafting Division of the Attorney General's Chambers are headed by the Attorney General and Chief Parliamentary Counsel, respectively.

The day to day administration of the State Solicitor's Office and the Deeds Registry is the responsibility of the State Solicitor and Registrar of Deeds, respectively.

The Accounts Section of the State Solicitor's Office and the Deeds Registry are subject to supervisory control of the Ministry.
